Privacy Policy
Protecting your personal data matters to us. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we explain below which data we process when you visit this website, for what purpose and on what legal basis.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
NUMIX DIGITAL e.U. (Numix Studio)
Owner: Oliver Krutz
Maximiliangasse 20/23, 2700 Wiener Neustadt, Austria
Email: hello@numixstudio.com
2. Hosting
This website runs on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), acting as our processor and providing hosting, network and content delivery services, with requests preferentially served via European data centres. On each request, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (see server log files) to ensure the delivery and security of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, performant operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare, and any transfer to third countries is safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Server Log Files
When you access the website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically processed:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- the page or file requested
- date and time of the request
- IP address (in shortened or truncated form)
This data is technically required to display the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. This data is not merged with other data sources.
4. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. The language is chosen based on your browser's language setting or the address you visit; nothing is stored on your device for this. In particular, we do not use any marketing, tracking or advertising cookies.
5. Web Analytics with PostHog
To analyse website usage statistically, we use PostHog. Processing takes place exclusively via the provider's European instance (eu.i.posthog.com) within the EU. We have configured PostHog without cookies: no cookies are set and no cross-device profiles are created. Returning visits are not recognised as such.
We record pages viewed, referrer, approximate origin and device type, as well as individual interactions such as progress through the contact form and the sending of an enquiry. IP addresses are not stored permanently in plain text; identification of individual persons is not intended. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a data-minimising analysis of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
6. Fonts
For a consistent appearance we use the “Inter" typeface. The font files are downloaded when the website is built and served locally from our own server. As a result, no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) is established when the page loads, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
7. Contacting Us
The contact form on this website turns your entries into a pre-filled email that opens in your own email client. The data entered is not stored on our server; it is transmitted to us only when you send the email yourself.
When you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.
8. Retention Period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax and commercial law periods). Enquiries and related correspondence are deleted once they are no longer required and no retention obligations apply.
9. Your Rights
Within the limits of the applicable law, you have the following rights at any time:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise your rights, an informal message to hello@numixstudio.com is sufficient.
10. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna ( www.dsb.gv.at).
11. Data Security
Data on this website is transmitted in encrypted form via TLS (indicated by “https://" in the address bar). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We update this Privacy Policy whenever changes in the legal situation or our services require it. The version published on this page applies.
